About the Role
Our client is looking for a Data Architect to join their Business Solutions team within the IT department. As a rapidly expanding healthcare provider managing approximately 250 care homes and a select number of hospitals across the UK, our client is at the forefront of innovation in the sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing strategic data architecture blueprints that drive business efficiency and operational excellence. This is a hybrid position, requiring travel to Inverness and London once a month.
About You
- Experience: 8+ years in Data Management or Data Architecture roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, modelling practices, and governance frameworks.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide data strategies.
- Cloud Proficiency: Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
- Collaboration & Communication: Ability to engage with stakeholders and drive data initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual and logical business models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop strategic data architecture blueprints and implement business-wide standards.
- Ensure data governance frameworks and quality standards are effectively maintained.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement modern data architecture and modelling practices.
- Work with cloud platforms, ideally Azure, to optimise data storage and accessibility.
