About the Role
Our client is looking for a Payroll Director to join their growing HR transformation practice. This is a high-profile role that combines business development, sales origination, and client delivery responsibilities.
As a Payroll Director, you will lead payroll deployment projects, provide specialist payroll advice, and optimize processes to maximize the benefits of new payroll solutions. You will also play a key role in expanding the HR transformation practice by driving business development, developing thought leadership, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-quality payroll transformation projects, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.
- Provide expert payroll advisory services, helping clients optimize payroll processes and execution.
- Advise clients on the transformational aspects of payroll, including operating model design and process improvements.
- Drive business development efforts, including bids, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Mentor and support the growth of the HR transformation practice by sharing knowledge and developing future leaders.
About You
- Experience: Proven track record in successfully delivering payroll transformation programs.
- Sales & Business Development: Strong experience in selling payroll solutions and securing new client engagements.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of payroll products and transformation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to engage with clients and internal teams at all levels.
- HR Transformation: Experience leading HR transformation projects, managing teams, and delivering innovative solutions.
- Project Delivery: Expertise in producing business requirements, functional specs, process flows, and other key deliverables.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Cloud, or Workday payroll solutions.
