About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-driven and analytical Senior Associate Procurement Consultant to join our Procurement Transformation & Advisory team. In this role, you will support strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, cost optimization, and supplier management projects across industries. You will contribute to delivering value-driven solutions, managing client relationships, and promoting procurement best practices that align with organizational goals.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain consulting.
- Strong understanding of procurement tools, practices, and market trends.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau); knowledge of sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Consulting experience required.
- German or French language skills are a strong preference
Key responsibilities
- Support and lead procurement consulting engagements, from discovery through implementation.
- Analyze client procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Conduct supplier market research, RFP/RFI development, bid analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess procurement processes and design improvement strategies.
- Provide insights on category management, spend analysis, and supplier performance.
- Assist in developing procurement policies, procedures, and governance models.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Support junior consultants and contribute to team knowledge development and capability building.
