About the Role
Our client, a global leader in SAP consulting and digital transformation, is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within large enterprise accounts across EMEA.
With a long-standing reputation for helping organisations unlock the full potential of their SAP investments, they partner with enterprises to deliver innovation, automation, migration, and operations on leading cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and SAP Cloud ERP.
You will play a key role in building strategic client relationships, developing tailored propositions, and delivering major SAP and cloud transformation deals. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior sales professional with deep experience in SAP and cloud solutions, who thrives on driving revenue growth and influencing transformation at scale.
About You
- Demonstrable success in selling SAP services (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, managed cloud solutions) to large enterprise clients.
- 10+ years’ experience in IT sales, with a focus on SAP, cloud transformation, or digital services.
- Proven ability to identify, craft, and close major, complex deals worth £1M+ in total contract value.
- Strong technical understanding of SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, RISE with SAP).
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid IT landscapes.
- Knowledge of enterprise IT outsourcing, project services, and managed services models.
- Prior experience with SAP Partners or consulting organisations.
- Ability to engage at C-level, articulate business value, and position solutions as critical enablers of success.
- Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen to create win-win contracts.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Results-oriented with a growth mindset and the tenacity to succeed.

Key responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Identify and nurture high-value prospects in large enterprise organisations, driving pipeline growth through strategic outreach and market insight.
- Sales Execution: Lead the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CFOs, and senior IT leaders to position our client as a strategic partner for SAP transformation and managed services.
- Solution Crafting: Develop bespoke value propositions for SAP and cloud services aligned to customers’ strategic goals and challenges.
- Revenue Growth: Deliver against defined revenue targets, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Partner with delivery, pre-sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional client experience.
- Market Expertise: Stay up to date on industry trends, SAP innovations, and competitor offerings to advise clients and differentiate services.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely updates on pipeline, deal status, and revenue forecasts using CRM systems.
