the opportunity

Our client is a globally recognised strategic advisory organisation supporting leading enterprises across Telecom, Media, and High Technology sectors and is seeking a Managing Partner to work with C-suite stakeholders on IT strategy and transformation, from planning and funding to execution, ensuring measurable business impact.

the role

As Managing Partner, you will work with senior executives across telecom, media, and high technology organisations to shape and deliver transformative IT and business strategies.

Clients typically include broadcasters, publishers, semiconductor organisations, software and platform providers, hyperscalers, and other technology-led enterprises.

You will advise at C-suite level on the full lifecycle of transformation — from strategy and value proposition design, through funding alignment, to execution — ensuring measurable value realisation.

key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders on IT strategy and transformation
  • Lead complex technology-enabled transformation programmes
  • Shape IT strategy, value propositions, and execution roadmaps
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy and actively support sales pursuits and proposal development
  • Drive growth within the Media and High Technology sectors
  • Provide strategic insight across operating model design, enterprise architecture, and organisational change
  • Deliver measurable value realisation aligned to strategic objectives

Experience & Qualifications

  • Extensive consulting experience from a leading management consulting firm
  • Proven track record in IT strategy, IT strategy execution, and technology-enabled transformation
  • Exposure to Telecom, Media, and High Technology sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience shaping and delivering complex client engagements
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of: digital transformation, cloud strategy/optimisation, applications modernisation, data/analytics/AI adoption, sourcing strategy, vendor management, IT contract optimisation, cyber security/IT risk strategy
  • Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy, business development, and proposal development
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (desirable)
  • Optional certifications: Enterprise Architecture, SAP or Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), Snowflake, Databricks, or other relevant professional qualifications
